So, I just found out and I am not over the shock. I worked for Don off and on from 18 - 23. He was more than a boss, he was a friend. He cracked on me when I needed it and praised me seldom, but I knew when I had made him happy. His step son Rich was my best friend. There was an accident and it left Rich paralyzed. He didn't walk or talk or pretend to be a saint, but the way he cared for Rich made him one in my eyes. I only hope I could be as good of a man as he was in that situation. Speaking of being a man, there were three people in my life who influenced my work ethic and my outlook on life. One was my father, one was my grandfather, and the other one was Don. I would be a different man, but as good of one today if I had not known him. I wish I could hear that silly cackle one more time and get one more piece of Hohlt wisdom. Enough said. Hope you have peace
